Let Go, Let God.

Everyone in the entire universe has let something or someone stress them out. Truth: we’ve all been stressed. Whether it’s about a family member, a dog, your job, your hobbies, all of these can cause some type of stress. It doesn’t matter the severity of the stress, light or crippling stress all matters. Nevertheless, there are times we make the mistake of letting the stress take over.

The absolute best thing you can do in these moments is to let God have his way. I know when I try to handle things on my own, things usually don’t go as planned or it just creates more STRESS. Here are some steps you can take to let go and let God handle it:

Step 1: Trust Him!

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭37‬:‭4‬-‭6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“Trust in the Lord, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass. He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, And your justice as the noonday.”

  • Charles Spurgeon put it perfectly —> “Faith cures fretting. Sight is cross-eyed, and views things only as they seem, hence her envy; faith has clearer optics to behold things as they really are, hence her peace.”

  • To look on this comment deeper, he is basically saying that on the surface level, things can look scary and cause us to get all worked up (fret), but simply having faith that God will get you through will bring clarity and peace to your blurry vision.

  • Having blind faith is the hardest thing Christian’s have to do. It’s definitely one of the hardest things I’ve done, but God always pulled through for me. Your human eyes may not see God’s plan, but he will never put you through anything you can’t handle.

  • This scripture not only tells us to trust him, but it also tells us to commit our ways to the Lord. Don’t lean on your own understanding and do what YOU think is the best thing. Pray about it, line it up with his word, fast; give it to God! When you do these things he will fulfill your desires and his faithful promises will come to pass.

Step 2: Read The Word

Step 3: Pray/ Fast

Hi, I go by Grandma Cindy. I am Kayleann's grandmother. I will be on this journey with them. I want to deepen my relationship with God. My beliefs about God were taught to me when I was very young; now, as an adult, I need /want to learn about God on an adult level. I enjoy how you get to the point you're trying to explain; it keeps my attention. Good luck, girls. I'm more than proud of you.
